New job!

I'm pleased to report I've got a steady contract (that's the plan, anyway) until the end of the year. Yes, it's the fancy pants job I interviewed for last Friday.

My questions have been answered and so far, so good. The office setting is second-to-none and the people I've met so far seem quite pleasant. This is an excellent opportunity to add to my resume, life experience, and--thank goodness--bank account.

I've yet to dream up a blog name for it (as, of course, I don't discuss such things in detail on the Interwebs) but let's say it is nautical in theme.
